International Conducting Masterclass 2022
The International Conducting Masterclass of Jorma Panula, the world-famous Professor Emeritus of the Sibelius Academy, organized by the Hírös Agora and the Kecskemét Symphony Orchestra was closed with great success and a public concert. Maestro Panula selected the 9 active participating conductors from 56 applicants who came to Kecskemét from all over the world: Japan, China, Singapore, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany and Portugal. Between 22 and 26 August, the young conductors rehearsed with the Kecskemét Symphony Orchestra for five days, 4 hours a day, followed by video analysis in the afternoons. On the 27th, they performed in a solemn closing concert in the Great Hall of the Hírös Agora. At the beginning of the concert, Dóra Barta, director of Hírös Agóra, and Jorma Panula presented the diplomas to the participants.
